The Champions League is the easiest competition to start a prediction league on: matches are played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, every matchday has 18 fixtures, and almost everyone in the group has an opinion about them. Since 2024/25 there are no groups. 36 teams sit in a single table and each plays 8 matches against 8 different opponents. The top eight go straight to the round of 16, places 9–24 play a two-legged play-off, the rest are out.

How points are scored
For every match you score points for the correct outcome (home win, draw, away win) and extra points for the exact score. A match without a pick scores 0.
The tournament admin sets the point values, and in competitions with a knockout phase can add bonus picks for the champion and top scorer, settled after the final.
A pick locks at kick-off of its match. Until then you can change it as often as you like.

How does the 2026/27 Champions League league phase work?
36 teams each play 8 matches (4 home, 4 away) against 8 different opponents drawn from four pots. All points go into one shared table. Places 1–8 qualify directly for the round of 16, places 9–24 go to a play-off, 25–36 are eliminated.
Until when can I enter a prediction for a Champions League match?
Until kick-off of that match. A Champions League matchday is spread over Tuesday and Wednesday, so Wednesday picks can still be edited on Tuesday evening. The league admin can shorten that window in the tournament settings.
Do I have to predict every match of a matchday?
No, but it pays to. A match without a pick scores 0. Quick predict mode lets you set all 18 scores in a few seconds and come back to them later, as long as the match has not started.
How are points scored for a Champions League match?
By default one point for the correct outcome (home win, draw, away win) and extra points for the exact score. The tournament admin sets the values, so you can change them in your own league. The official tournament uses one scoring scheme for everyone.
Can I predict only the knockout phase?
Yes. Besides the full season you can start a league on the league phase only or on the knockout phase only, once its fixtures are published after the draw. Joining mid-season is possible too; points count from your first pick.
